    The Pond Book

The Pond Book is a Children Book best for grades 2-3. It is a self-contained guide to how an ecosystem works.

An ecosystem is consist of a Biotic and Abiotic factors of the environment. Biotic Factors are all natural unit consisting of all plants, animals and micro-organisms and they are fuctioning together with all the physical factors known as the Abiotic factors of the environment.

The Pond Book is a field guide to all sorts of pond creatures from frogs and toads to turtles and water bugs. It comes together with a tadpole tank with a special strainer and magnifying lens lid.

Over 40 species are covered in the book and children learn how each contributes to the life of a pond. They discover a spider that goes fishing, a bug that breathes through a tube; and a larva that builds a house for itself out of twigs and pebbles.

Ther's the bladderwort, a plant that eats insects, and the adult mayfly - an insect that never eats. A special 16-page section is devoted to frogs, toads and tadpoles: how they live, what they eat, the mystery of their disappearance and why it's important not to handle them. The tadpole tank is shatterproof, see-through and large. Topping it is the pondwand, a combination lid/strainer with a folding handle and a special magnifying lens in the centre so young wetland scientists can watch even the tiniest creatures slink and swim.

The Pond Book is available in many Book Store in the childrens book section. There are also many other Books that covers the Pond Title and many interesting other books such as Fiction Book and much more.
